Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better called Ari Lennox, is an American singer and musician born in Washington, D.C., who was the first female to be signed to J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. In October 2016 Ari Lennox debuted her Pho EP. It was here that she received recognition. The album that she released as her debut studio album Shea Butter Baby was released on May 7 2019. Ari Lennox uploaded her music to the internet in 2012 after she released her the Five Finger Discount mixtape and Ariography EP in 2013. The singer continued uploading her songs online throughout 2014, including the independently-released single Bound. On July 21st, 2015. Omen was featured on Elephant Eyes song Sweat It Out. J. Cole asked her to collaborate with him for Rihanna's references. Later in the calendar, her songs circulated around Dreamville.
